Small local side business

Straightforward tech help from a local guy.

Hi, I’m Chad. I run Arcanite Computers in my spare time to help people feel more comfortable with computers and AI. I offer patient, one-on-one help in Fallbrook and nearby communities, with limited appointments on evenings and weekends.

This is not a full-time repair shop or an emergency support service. Send me a short email and I’ll let you know whether I’m a good fit and when I’m available.

How I can help

I keep the list small so I can be honest about what I do well and what I currently have time to take on.

About me

I like helping people make sense of technology.

I grew up while home computers, the internet, and smartphones were becoming part of everyday life. I remember learning the old-fashioned way—taking things apart, fixing mistakes, reading manuals, and helping family and friends when something did not work.

Over the years, I’ve worked with computer hardware, Windows systems, help desks, data, investigations, software tools, and AI. In my regular job, I use technology to solve practical problems and make repetitive work easier. Arcanite Computers gives me a way to share that experience locally without pretending to be a large IT company.

My goal is not to impress you with technical language. It is to listen, explain your options, and help you make a decision that makes sense for your situation and budget.

What you can expect

  • One person from the first email through the final conversation.
  • Plain-English explanations and honest recommendations.
  • No pressure to buy equipment or services you do not need.
  • Respect for your privacy and personal information.

What I’m not set up for

  • 24-hour, same-day, or emergency technical support.
  • Full-time business IT management or large company projects.
  • Computer repair work while that service remains unavailable.
  • Guaranteed availability every evening or weekend.

Local and part-time by design: I live in Fallbrook, work a regular job, and schedule this work around family and other responsibilities. That means my availability is limited, but it also means you will always know exactly who you are working with.
